I had eye surgery like, two days ago...and it was one of those quick corrective procedures and Oh My God...I can see. It's totally awesome. Like, no glasses, no contacts. Just my eyes and I can see...the feeling is just amazing. I'm completely stunned at the "high-definition" view that 20/20 people get. It's just...wow. I can finally see everyone clearly. I can see my friends, hell, I CAN SEE MY FUCKING HAND IN FRONT OF MY FUGLY FACE!!! It's so cool! And I can look in the mirror and see every single minute detail that I couldn't see before. And the first thing the doctor did after surgery was done...was break my thick, Harry Potter-esque glasses in two. And seeing that felt great. It's so awesome to be able to see again.

Sure, I didn't get to see the fireworks on the 4th...but I heard them...and that was enough for me.

And today's the first day I'm allowed to go without that uncomfortable blindfold they give you after it's done...so I came back to the LJ...and...

I'm really happy for you! I got new sight! You got your job~! HAPPY!!!

And you truly, truly deserve to get everything you want...even if you make "small children" such as myself lose little innocence points. XD You totally deserve it for working so hard on the Janne Da Arc community. TOTAL. EPIC. WIN. ^_^
